I can’t believe that I have been working in this industry for almost 9 years! Where have the years gone? Trips down memory lane (via images on my hard drive) are astonishing; kids grow up too fast! We know this–hence photos to mark space and time–but it still befuddles the mind, doesn’t it?
Adults grow and change too, not as dramatically, but we do. It’s Life. And Life has brought me back to a very familiar crossroad and has asked me to make a decision about which way I should turn. It’s with a heart full of love and thanks that I am saying good-bye to my photography career as I know it. I will keep my business license and perhaps work some special events, but my muse has circled back to my first love with a return to the classroom at The Altamont School.
I am working to wrap up the bulk of my very belated workload by April 1, and please stay tuned for updates! I am also happy to provide you with a list of referrals.
Finally, thank you. Thank you for your friendship and support. Thank you for trusting me with you memories. Thank you for your time and energy. Thank you for being yourself and inviting me into your life. I have loved the journey thus far, and I look forward to walking the road with you for many years to come.
I finally have my fall newsletter online and out to my email list! Booking info and holiday card links are all in the newsletter. Please check it out and holler if you have any questions!
(P.S. Please let me know if you would like to be added to the mailing list. I promise not to flood your inbox with emails or spam, nor will I share your info.)
I had the pleasure of returning to the Elizabeth Perry Rushton Center last week. I think you’ll agree that the happy faces tell the story of a very special little pre-school. What a treat to experience such sweet smiles, and nothing beats an impromptu hug from a three-year-old! Contact sheets and order forms will be in the office later this week or early next week, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, enjoy the slideshow, and thank you so much for inviting me back to capture the love in your school!
Snap Kids invited me to get in on one of their summer events last week. Below you will see there is fun to be had, even on a hot, rainy, humid summer day in Bham. Girls left with glitter tattoos and hair tinsel, and got a photo shoot to boot! I hope to schedule a few more in July. As you can tell, fashion is fun at Snap Kids! Feel free to comment below if you are interested in joining the party next go ’round! Enjoy!
This was one of the cutest parties I have ever seen! High Tea with custom hats, gloves, real china, bubbles, smiles, giggles and love! Happy Birthday to Stella Girl! We love you!
